Things that you can do while on quarantine!

Due to the corona virus pandemic many of us are under an enhanced quarantine. People are stuck in their homes since the government issued the general prevention and control measures that we need to follow. But what can we do in times like this? Well there are a lot of things that you can do while at home.



1. Clean your house!


When is the better time to clean your house but now? While on quarantine you’ll have the time to do the house chores that you only do on weekends due to lack of time, but now since you will be staying in your house for quite a bit why don’t you make that stay more productive by arranging your clothes, de-cluttering your cabinet and putting things in order. You can also bring out the home project that you have been putting off, maybe painting the old room or installing new furniture or fixing that old creaky door. Use your quarantine time to make your house better and cleaner. Also always remember to Disinfect! Disinfect! Disinfect! In times like this we should take extra precaution. Disinfect the door knob handle disinfect your phone, your keys and things that you often use to avoid any contact with germs.


2. Take care of your health.


Maintain a healthy lifestyle including proper diet, sleep and exercise.

This is the most important thing that you should do while on quarantine. It’s to take care of you. The Covid-19 is a virus that affects your health greatly so we should do the things that we can to make our immune system stronger. Eat whole foods, as much as possible intake a lot of vegetables and fruits and add vitamins to your diet. Have a proper sleeping pattern, it doesn’t mean that while we are on quarantine we can sleep at 1am or 3am. You should go to sleep at the right time, preferably at 10pm so that our cells can repair while we are asleep. Make sure to get at least 8 hours of sleep. Lastly do not forget to exercise; there are a lot of free home workouts that you can do on youtube, If you want to start your yoga journey I recommend yogawithadrienne she is one the best yoga teachers but if you want a workout that’s more intense you can check blogilates. Take care of your body


3. Try a part time job


It doesn’t mean that while you’re on quarantine you can’t earn money anymore, well that’s a myth nowadays with our technology we can almost do anything we want in the comfort of our own home. If you want to earn a side cash while at home you can try these part time jobsonline. Be an Online English Teacher, Transcriptionist, Video Editor, Content Writer, Graphic Designer and many more. These jobs only require a good internet connection, a laptop and sometimes a pair of headphones. There are a lot of platforms that offers a part time job that you can do such as 51talk for online teaching rev for transcribing and a lot more. Don’t just watch Netflix all day, use your time to be productive and earn cash while at home.


4. Take online classes

5. Pray


Lastly don’t forget to pray. We are together in this fight!

We often forget to pray due to our busy lives but since we are on quarantine, we now have a time to reflect, meditate and talk to God.


While our health workers and Frontliners around the world are fighting this virus, we can also help them by praying and hoping that this pandemic would end soon. Yes, we can continue the fight spiritually in our homes. We need to stand firm in our Faith and continue to worship, and pray that this battle can be won with God! So please give a minute of your time to pray with your family or just by yourself. Spend more time in prayer, have faith that this too shall past.
